After first lifting the Wimbledon trophy in 2024 alongside Harri Heliovaara, Henry has once again conquered the grass, claiming his second Wimbledon title and third Grand Slam championship.
Top seeds Henry Patten and Harri Heliovaara produced another outstanding performance to defeat sixth seeds Marcelo Arévalo and Mate Pavić in straight sets in the Gentlemen's Doubles final. Patten also now becomes the first British player in the Open Era to win the Wimbledon men’s doubles title on multiple occasions. With this third major trophy, he now ranks second on the list for most Grand Slam men’s doubles titles won by a British player.
Patten had nothing but kind words to say in response, saying “I owe Harri, well, my career really.
“When I started with Harri, he took a chance on me and it turned out to be the best decision he ever made I think!
“It’s surreal. When we won the first time, we didn’t know if we would have the opportunity to ever, ever experience this again and we just feel so lucky to be out here again.”
