HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif., Nov.1, 2026 – Srixon’s Andrew Novak put together a week to remember at the VidantaWorld Mexico Open, earning a five-shot victory for his second career PGA Tour win and first individual tournament title.
Coming into the week with three top-10 finishes already in 2026, Novak continued to build on that momentum with an impressive performance throughout the week. He never posted a round outside the 60s, carding a 67, 61, 62, and 69 to separate himself from the field and cruise to the win.
A big part of Novak's success came from his play with the irons. He ranked second in Strokes Gained: Approach and first in Strokes Gained: Total, consistently giving himself scoring opportunities throughout the week.

Novak also made a change to his setup heading into the tournament, switching from the Srixon Z-STAR DIAMOND to the Z-STAR XV golf ball in search of a little less spin. The change paid off, as he paired the Z-STAR XV with his Srixon ZXi5 and ZXi7 combo iron set and Cleveland Golf RTZ 2 Wedges to secure his dominant win.
