HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif., Feb. 26, 2026 – SRIXON® proudly congratulates Staff member Bo Preston, PGA, on being named a 2026 Patriot Award recipient, an honor presented to a PGA of America Golf Professional who exemplifies patriotism through the game of golf and demonstrates an ongoing commitment to supporting the men and women who have served and protected the United States of America.
The Association annually recognizes 13 award recipients for their extraordinary accomplishments and efforts within the golf industry, standing out among more than 30,000 PGA of America Golf Professionals.

Preston, a member of the South Florida PGA Section and the PGA General Manager at The Links at Boynton Beach, has spent more than two decades using golf as a meaningful way to serve Veterans and strengthen the community around them. He previously earned the 2021 South Florida PGA Section Patriot Award and has continued to build one of the most active Veteran golf communities in the region.
A longtime supporter of PGA HOPE (Helping Our Patriots Everywhere), Preston has hosted more than 30 programs and supported golf leagues, outings, and special events that have impacted more than 700 Veterans and their families. Under his leadership, The Links at Boynton Beach has become a welcoming home for Veterans across Palm Beach County, supported by a team of 13 PGA and LPGA PGA HOPE-certified instructors.
Additionally, Preston founded “HOPE Has a Home Golf League” in 2023, which has grown from 13 participants to 162 Veterans, and helped launch the Valor Cup, a Ryder Cup-style competition featuring 36 PGA HOPE graduates from the PGA HOPE programs of Fairwinds Golf Course and The Links at Boynton Beach. The event provides a full tournament-style atmosphere, including opening ceremonies, team uniforms, and a trophy presentation.
