J.J. SPAUN BATTLES FOR THE PLAYERS CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE
Highly regarded as golf's ‘Fifth Major’, The PLAYERS Championship was one for the books, with multiple Srixon staffers in the hunt for the acclaimed Players Champion title. For the third straight week, two Srixon players found themselves inside the Top 5 by tournament end – J.J. Spaun (2), and Lucas Glover (T3).
For J.J. Spaun, he was just one roll short of winning the tournament outright. He would find himself in a playoff on Monday morning, where he narrowly missed out on the biggest win of his career - but his incredible play this season has vaulted him inside the Top 25 in the world and has secured his spot in the year's first major championship.
