Opening the 2025 season with a statement win, longtime Srixon staffer Hideki Matsuyama captured his 11th PGA TOUR victory at The Sentry by breaking the 72-hole scoring record using the brand new Z-STAR XV golf ball. The following week, at the Sony Open, Srixon had three players finish in the top-10 continuing the positive momentum to begin the season.

Meanwhile, Ernie Els continued his dominance on the PGA Tour Champions at the Mitsubishi Electric Championship at Hualalai. Els earned his seventh title and fourth in the last two seasons using Srixon Irons and the new Z-STAR XV Tour Yellow golf ball. Els isn’t the only player on the Champions Tour who chooses Srixon Irons for their game. According to Darrell Survey results, Srixon leads in Iron count at 33.3%, making them the number one choice on the established Tour.

“We’re thrilled with the tremendous success we’ve seen on Tour to start this season. Srixon continues to develop new equipment that more of the world’s best want to compete with. In 2025, we’ve already seen what happens when world-class players choose world-class equipment. We’re looking forward to continued success on Tour throughout the year.”
Michael Jolly, Director of Tour Operations

With these achievements and the launch of the brand’s new line of equipment, Srixon is poised to redefine performance and leave an indelible mark on the golf industry in 2025 and beyond.
