Hideki Matsuyama at the Farmers Insurance Open

It’s been a strong start to the season for Srixon staff, with multiple players already making noise near the top of the leaderboards. The season opened at the Sony Open in Hawaii where Taylor Pendrith posted a T6 finish, firing four rounds in the 60s and finishing at 11-under par. He tied for sixth in Strokes Gained: Total for the week, marking a solid start to his 2026 season.

The momentum carried into the west coast swing as Andrew Putnam put on a show at The American Express, finishing T2 and posting a career-low 60 in the second round. His low-round 60 was highlighted by a flawless 18-for-18 performance in greens hit that day and 83% greens in regulation for the week. Putnam made an equipment change this week, switching from a ZXi Utility 3-iron to ZXi7 4-iron, noting the more consistent contact in bigger moments throughout the week.

At the Farmers Insurance Open, Srixon continued its strong run with two top 15 finishes, as Andrew Novak secured a T7 and Hideki Matsuyama added a T11.
